Developed Shear reinforcing Rubber Bearing (DSRB)
Elastomeric bearing is a supporting device for bridge, which is composed of reinforced steel plates and rubber plates in multi-layer structure. It is developed to reinforce a strength to vertical load with its reinforced steel plates and as for horizontal load, to absorb horizontal displacement and rotation by elasticity of rubber.

Recently, as the application of multi-span continuous design of bridges has expanded, a large amount of movement is required at the branch parts, making it difficult to apply elastic bearings. Accordingly, a rubber bearing capable of sliding behavior was developed by applying a guide bar, PTFE, and sliding plate (STS) while maintaining the physical properties of the existing elastic bearing.
